Sorigin RE Services has secured a 250 MW/500 MWh standalone battery energy storage system (BESS) project in Rajasthan from an Indian independent power producer.
The project will be implemented at two locations, with two installations of 125 MW/250 MWh each at Giral and Suratgarh. The company will provide end-to-end engineering, procurement and construction services for the project. The BESSs are expected to support grid stability, manage peak demand and facilitate renewable energy integration.
