NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) has commissioned an additional 62.5 MW solar power capacity in Rajasthan through two project companies under its joint venture with Oil and Natural Gas Corporation.
The company declared commercial operation of 12.5 MW capacity in a 150 MW solar project of Project Eleven Renewable Power Private Limited, taking the project’s operational capacity to 100 MW. It also declared commercial operation of 50 MW capacity in a 300 MW solar project of Project Sixteen Renewable Power Private Limited, increasing the project’s operational capacity to 200 MW. With these additions, the group’s total operational renewable energy capacity has increased to 10,516.40 MW.
