Vikran Engineering Limited has commissioned the 132 kV Miao–Namsai Transmission Line in Arunachal Pradesh. The project marks a key milestone in strengthening the power transmission network in the North Eastern Region.
The project comprises 40.63 km of transmission line and 138 tower foundations, including two pile foundations executed under challenging geological conditions. The transmission line is expected to strengthen the power supply network in Arunachal Pradesh, improve transmission reliability, connect remote areas to the national grid, and facilitate power evacuation from upcoming hydropower projects in the North Eastern Region.
