Juniper Green Energy Limited has commissioned its 75 MW wind-solar hybrid project, following the commissioning of 36.25 MWp solar capacity at Bhigwan in Pune, Maharashtra. With this commissioning, the entire project, comprising 36.25 MWp of solar and 50 MW of wind capacity, now stands fully operational.
The project has been developed through Juniper Green Beam Eight Private Limited, a subsidiary of Juniper Green Energy, and executed under a power purchase agreement with Tata Power. Further, the solar component of the project is connected to the Bhigwan substation in Pune district, while the wind component is connected to the Nilanga substation in Latur district. Following the commissioning of the project, Juniper Green Energy’s aggregate operational renewable energy capacity has increased to approximately 2,725 MWp. Meanwhile, its operational battery energy storage system capacity stands at 503 MWh.
