The company has registered an increase of 3.06 per cent in total income to Rs 1,035.52 billion in 2020-21 from Rs 1,004.78 billion recorded last year. The company’s net profit has increased by 36.16 per cent to Rs 137.7 billion from Rs 101.13 billion during the same period. NTPC has realised more than 100 per cent of the billed amount during the year. In 2020-21 NTPC has also recorded the highest ever gross generation of 31.07 BUs. Its coal power plants have achieved a plant load factor (PLF) of 66 per cent and an availability factor of 91.43 per cent.
