The Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) has notified that tertiary reserve ancillary service (TRAS) provision of the CERC (Ancillary Services) Regulations, 2022 will come into force from May 1, 2023.
It includes provisions pertaining to TRAS under regulation 6; regulations 14 to 19; provisions pertaining to TRAS in regulations 20 to 22; and regulations 26. CERC has further notified that with the coming into force of Regulations 26, the detailed procedures issued under CERC (Ancillary Services) Regulations, 2015 will cease to be in operation from May 1, 2023.
