Brookfield Asset Management has announced the completion of phase-1 of solar energy park in Bikaner, Rajasthan.
The first phase of the Bikaner project introduces 268 MWp of solar power capacity, with plans to expand the park to a total capacity of 550 MWp upon the completion of its second phase. The park is set to cater to the power needs of the commercial and industrial sectors. The renewable energy park encompasses various business models, including virtual power purchase agreement (PPA), third-party open access, group captive, and merchant sale.
