Ellume Solar has been granted a letter of award (LoA) by Maharashtra State Power Generation Company Limited to construct 100 MW grid-connected solar power projects in Aurangabad.
By quoting a tariff of Rs 2.97 per kWh, Ellume secured the project to deliver electricity to agricultural feeders on a public-private partnership model as a part of Mukhyamantri Saur Krishi Vahini Yojna. Ellume Solar is required to provide the confirmed locations for establishing the project by March 23, 2024. Before signing the power purchase agreement, the company is required to furnish Rs 500,000 per MW as a performance bank guarantee.
