Powergrid Corporation of India Limited (Powergrid) has secured the bid for Transmission system for evacuation of power from Pumped Storage Projects in Sonbhadra District, Uttar Pradesh.
The project was awarded to Powergrid on build, own, operate and transfer basis and involve the establishment of a new 765/400 kV pooling substation, bay extension works at other upcoming substations, and 765 kV transmission line works. It will facilitate evacuation of power from pumped storage projects located in Sonbhadra district, Uttar Pradesh.
