Tata Power EV Charging Solutions Limited (TPEVCSL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with VE Commercial Vehicles Limited (VECV) to accelerate electric vehicle adoption in India’s commercial transport sector.
The partnership will focus on electric trucks and buses, particularly the newly launched Eicher Pro X range of small commercial vehicles. As part of the collaboration, TPEVCSL will provide its electric vehicle charging infrastructure and customised solutions, while VECV will contribute energy efficiency expertise to enhance electric truck performance and ensure alignment with end-user needs.
