Reportedly, Suzlon Energy is set to establish three new artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled smart blade manufacturing factories with two units proposed in Gujarat and Karnataka and the third location to be finalised.
The expansion will raise Suzlon’s national manufacturing footprint to 20 facilities. The new factories will feature advanced automation, robotics, digital workflows, and monitoring systems aimed at increasing productivity, enhancing quality and improving workplace safety. The initiative is part of Suzlon’s broader smart-factory programme under which all 15 existing units will also be upgraded with similar digital capabilities.
