EVE Energy commissions 200 MW/400 MWh storage project using 628 Ah battery cells

EVE Energy has commissioned a 200 MW/400 MWh grid-scale energy storage station under the Ruite New Energy Lingshou project, positioning it as the first 400 MWh facility deployed using 628 Ah ultra-large battery cells.

The project has been configured with 80 units of 5 MWh direct-current energy storage systems and 40 integrated power conversion cabins. The deployment marks a step toward large-format battery adoption in utility-scale storage, with EVE Energy reporting cumulative production of over 1 million units of its 628 Ah cells.
