THDC India Limited, a subsidiary of NTPC Limited, has commissioned unit IV of the 1,000 MW Tehri pumped storage project.
Following this, THDC India Limited’s total installed and commercial capacity has reached 3,907 MW. NTPC Group is developing pumped storage projects with a total capacity of 20 GW across multiple sites in the country and plans to commission 3 GW to 5 GW of this capacity by 2031-32.
